          Attorney Carol Hagan McEntee, a founding member of McEntee & McEntee, brings decades of legal expertise and public service to her work.   She began her career as a prosecutor in the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office and later served as an Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Warwick.                      
        In private practice, Attorney Carol Hagan McEntee has built a reputable practice in the areas of family law, municipal law, DUI & criminal defense, and personal injury. Attorney McEntee is deeply committed to advocating for survivors of childhood sexual abuse—a cause that is profoundly personal to her—helping guide victims through the legal process to hold individuals and institutions accountable. 

         Alongside her legal career, Carol Hagan McEntee has demonstrated a dedication to public service. She currently serves as a State Representative for District 33—which includes South Kingstown and Narragansett—in the Rhode Island House of Representatives, where she has served since 2015. Representative McEntee holds key leadership roles as Chair of the House Small Business Committee and Vice Chair of the House Judiciary Committee.  Among her legislative achievements, Representative McEntee was the driving force behind the enactment of Rhode Island’s Parentage Act, a landmark law that modernized the state’s parentage statutes. Prior to her election to the state legislature, she served on the South Kingstown Town Council from 2008 to 2015.
